These have taken the irritation out of having to steam and shape shrink tubing to attain this result, as they can simply be slid over the eye of the hook to give a faultless presentation in a matter of seconds. Some anglers look to try and mask their hook as much as possible, and they will like the green and brown versions which will blend in with most lake beds.

These have been designed to help you make rigs that flip, turn and catch hold much more easily. To create a bottom-bait presentation that will guarantee optimum hooking, simply slide one over the eye of your hook and you're good to go!

Ali Hamidi and Tom Dove wanted to create something totally different with these. And so have decided to make them available in bright yellow, pink, red and white, as well as the normal green and brown. Their thinking was that adding more colour to the orbit of the hook bait would help grab the carp's attention even faster!If you're somewhat older fashioned, like Danny, then you can still choose thems to blend with the lake bed.

With fishing it can often be the simpler things which can make a real difference, and that is definitely the case with the new products.

For years anglers have been adding pieces of shrink tubing and the like to their hooks to help improve rig mechanics and make the hook turn more aggressively in the mouth of a carp and improve the chances of a hook hold.

Years ago this was done by using a bent hook, and although very effective they also caused damage to a fish’s mouth, so anglers switched to tubing.

These are made from a robust rubber which will easily slide over the eye of the hook and hold in place, and when a fish is hooked it straightens but will then return to its original shape afterwards.

The anglers who have had access to these in advance have been coming up with all sorts of other presentations as well as that which they were originally designed for!

There are three sizes available, with small fitting size 10-12 hooks, medium for size 6-8, and large for size 2-4.
